Welcome to Ocean City Online^SM’s “virtual version” of the Ocean City Historic District Walking Tour, devised by the Ocean City Historic Preservation Commission. This self-guided tour, consisting of 13 locations, has been arranged to showcase some of Ocean City’s most significant structures. Although many other public and private buildings contribute to the rich historic context of our resort town, the destinations on this guide may be visited in a leisurely 45 minutes. (Our online “virtual version” takes considerably less!)

As visitors tour the historic district, they will notice plaques on some structures. The Ocean City Historic Commission presents these plaques and Certificates of Appreciation to deserving properties within the district and the city that make outstanding contributions towards historic preservation and culture.
