Christian Boarding Hse on 6th MYSTERY

I used to stay, when a child, with my family at a self-described Christian boarding house which I believe was on sixth, one block back from the ocean and Wonderland. It was across the street (I believe) from the tennis courts.
I would like to return but do not remember the name of the place. It was famous for the owner having had an article about it in Guideposts.
